Board of Parole paper offender records will be scanned into the official electronic format within one year and then destroyed after verifying for completeness, legibility, and accuracy. Electronic offender records will be kept for 50 years after cut off, then destroyed by state approved methods. Any paper files that cannot be scanned or saved electronically will be kept for 50 years after cut off, then destroyed by state approved methods.
