The files are to be cut off at the end of each employee termination, then scan and microfilm the records. Destroy paper upon verification of microfilm and electronic scanning. Electronic copies will be kept in agency for 100 years. Transfer original microfilm to the state records center for 100 years, maintain duplicate in agency for 100 years, and then destroy by state approved methods.
