Disposition Notes
The files are to be cut off at reappraisal cycle The cutoff for the records is 4,5, or 6 years based on the particular counties' reappraisal cycles. All counties in TN choose one of those 3 cycles to revalue properties on a countywide basis. Our office keeps the records until replaced by the next plan of reappraisal for that county as it is submitted and in progress. Maintain in the agency 1 year beyond implementation of reappraisal, then destroy.
