The data plates provide a construction criteria for each manufactured home based on the region where the manufactured home is built. The manufacturer of the home creates the data plate and the data plates may vary slightly based on the specific manufacturer. The Department of Commerce and Insurance maintains these records as their responsibility as the Primary Inspection Agency.

RDA 881 is a request to revise an RDA. The Abstract, Disposition, and Worksheet have been updated. The retention period will change from twenty-six years to permanent. The format will change to paper/electronic. Recommend approval of request to revise RDA 881.
