The files are to be cut of at the clean close of facility. Records are then microfilmed and scanned electronically. Paper records are destroyed upon verification of microfilm. Records are stored electronically in agency for 50 years. Microfilm is then sent to the State Records Center, maintain for 50 years, then destroy by state approved methods.
