Records are generated in paper and electronic format. Electronic records are printed and kept with paper records. Records are cut off upon case closure. Closed cases are sent to the State Records Center annually, according to the Federal Fiscal Year in which the cases were closed. Records are retained for five years, then destroyed by state-approved methods.
