We have reviewed RDA 11232 from an audit standpoint. We recommend changing the retention period to 5 years, and the audit requirement to 'State'.

The Board of Law Examiners RDA for exam essay answers specifies a two-year retention period as instructed by the Justices of the Tennessee Supreme Court and memorialized in a letter from Chief Justice Jeffrey S. Bivins dated July 11, 2017, which was submitted with our RDA application.

RDA 11232 is a request to create an RDA. The requested retention period is "two years and destroy." The format will be paper. The Comptroller's Audit Division is recommending that the Retention Period be changed to five years and the Audit Requirements to State. The Administrative Office of the Courts replied that the TN Supreme Court has specified that the retention period should be two years.
