Record Series Abstract
Records include program and project collateral (e.g., proposals, applications, program manuals, subrecipient monitoring checklists), reports, and other documents related to the administration and management of programs, projects, and initiatives supported with PVE funds. These funds were received as a result of various legal settlements and transferred from ECD to TDEC on 1-1-13. (The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) was responsible for identifying violations of oil embargo related restrictions from 1973-1981, recovering overcharges, and providing restitution to the states. The final payment was received by TDEC on 3/1/2017.). The Office of Energy Programs continues to utilize the remaining funds to support various eligible activities and expenditures and request concurrence from DOE as required.
